What happens if a Bid Zone winner doesn’t pay
Walking away from a won auction forfeits your staked credits — that’s the deterrent that keeps auctions real.
The forfeit
If you win and don’t complete checkout within 24 hours, the credits you staked on that auction are forfeited and the seller is compensated from them.
The item is then offered to the runner-up at their highest bid, or relisted.
Waivers
Plus members get 1 waived forfeit per month and Premium members get 3 — a waiver returns your staked credits once per incident, no questions asked. Waivers apply automatically.
Repeat offenses
Three forfeits in 90 days suspends Bid Zone access for 30 days. Forfeits from verified payment failures (not buyer choice) don’t count — open a support case.
