How Name-Your-Price actually works
Every NYP listing has a hidden floor set by the seller. Offer above it and you win instantly; below it, the seller can counter.
Making an offer
On any product with the Name-Your-Price badge, enter the price you want to pay. Your card is saved but not charged until an offer is accepted.
Offers above the seller’s floor auto-accept on the spot — the order is created at your price. Offers below the floor go to the seller, who has 48 hours to accept, counter, or decline.
Counters and expiry
A counter-offer locks the seller’s price for 24 hours. Accept it from your Offers page and checkout completes with your saved card.
You can have one live offer per product. Withdrawing an offer before a response is free and instant.
Etiquette (and limits)
Lowball spam is rate-limited: three declined offers on the same product pauses NYP on it for you for a week. Reasonable offers in the 70–90% range get accepted most often.
